Check Coverage & Network Status
A smart mobile network with reliable coverage – exactly what you need.
Check your coverage
This coverage map is for general guidance only. It shows where you can typically expect to find our network and outdoor coverage. Keep in mind that actual coverage can vary based on your exact location and the type of phone or device you’re using.
You can’t get 5G fast data speed unless you live in a 5G coverage area and have a 5G-capable device on a 5G plan.
With WiFi Calling, you can easily make and receive calls and texts in any Wi-Fi-enabled location in New Zealand, even if your mobile signal is weak. WiFi Calling, like VoLTE, functions as a standard call over a stable WiFi connection. It’s ideal for use at home, work, or in areas with limited coverage.
VoLTE, also known as “4G Voice” or “4G Calling,” allows you to make phone calls via 4G networks. 4G calling is possible if your plan includes 4G and your phone supports VoLTE. You might need to update your phone’s software in order to enable VoLTE.
For the best network experience, your phone should be fully compatible with our network provider, even if your phone or device was purchased overseas. Your device ought to have confirmed that it is compatible with the mobile networks in New Zealand. Kindly confirm whether the following 4G bands are supported by your device:
- 4G Band 1 (LTE 2100MHz)
- 4G Band 3 (LTE 1800MHz)
- 4G Band 7 (LTE 2600MHz)
- 4G Band 8 (LTE 900MHz)
- 4G Band 28 (LTE 700MHz)
